Answer: at the bottom of the stairs
Paragraph 1 says she found the puppy at the bottom of the stairs.
What did Mei Ling's mother give the puppy?
Answer: a bowl of warm milk
Paragraph 2 says her mother gave it a bowl of warm milk.
Why did Mei Ling put a note on the lift door?
Answer: So that the owner would know where the puppy was.
The note says FOUND and gives her flat number, so that whoever lost the puppy could come for it.
How do you know the man was the puppy's owner?
Answer: The puppy ran to him and wagged its tail.
A puppy that runs to someone and will not stop wagging its tail knows that person well.
What did the class grow in cups?
Answer: green beans
Paragraph 1 says the class grew green beans in cups.
Why did Mrs Devi move the cup?
Answer: That end of the window sill got less sun.
Paragraph 3 says the window sill got less sun at that end, so she moved the cup to the middle.
How many leaves did the plant have at the end of the month?

Paragraph 4 says that by the end of the month the plant had 4 leaves.
At the end of the month, what was true about the plant?
