Can there be a button to print a paper, instead of downloading it first?
What changed
Every paper page now has a Print button next to Download. It opens your browser's print dialog straight away — no download needed.
Sent from the 2024 P3 English SA2 paper from Rosyth School. Until now, printing meant downloading the PDF, finding it in your downloads, opening it and printing from there. The Print button does it in one step: it loads the paper and opens the print dialog for you.
On Chrome, Edge and Firefox on a computer, the print dialog opens on the page. Safari and phone browsers cannot print a PDF that way, so there the button opens the paper in a new tab — use the browser's own Print or Share button from there. Large scans can take a few seconds to get ready; the button says “Preparing…” while it loads.
