  1. Write 3.45 p.m. in 24-hour time.

    Answer: 15 45

    For p.m. times, add 12 to the hour: 3 + 12 = 15, giving 15 45.

  2. Write 08 20 in 12-hour time.

    Answer: 8.20 a.m.

    24 × 60 = 1440 minutes.
